Bear Lake

With a name like Bear Lake you have to wonder if it's home to a crazy about of Bear's. I didn't see one the entire trip so I guess there isn't an infestation. It is such a beautiful place! It was a perfect weekend, not to hot, not to cold and the lake was empty. I enjoyed the entire trip except the sleeping part. Everyone had super comfortable camp trailers and we our high tech Coleman!

Nestled on a nice soft bed of rocks!

Finally about 4 am I crawled into the car and got a couple hours of sleep!

Camping! I would love to do it again just as soon as we get a nice comfortable trailer!

Have you been to any great camp spots?

Camping in a tent is not my kind of thing. My back wouldn't survive but the Bear Lake area is pretty!
Are they selling those delicious raspberry shakes already?

I am not a seasoned camper, but I can tell you how beautiful and wonderful it was camping in NW Arkansas, outside of gorgeous Eureka Springs. (great quilt shops in Eureka Springs!) The campground is in Beaver, Arkansas. Right on the White River.

We take an air mattress. You might want to get one!

I loved going to Bear Lake when I was younger. Looks like fun! I just wanted to stop by and say thank you so much for the Baby, it's You book. I was the random winner over at the Ladybird Ln Pillowfight. It is so fun and I am so excited about it. Thank you, thank you!!! Also, I am a new follower!
