Our Winners Are…….

It's time to announce our winners!  With a drum roll……….Our fat quarter bundle winner is Linda from Montana………..our next winner will receive the pattern Road Trip which is Jodi from Rhode Island.  Sunnybec from France is the winner of Chev-skis pattern and our last winner is Amanda  from, she will be receiving Sew Edgy.

Thank you all for participating! I will email each of you today!

Locally you can find Sweet Harmony at  Abbotts Craft in Rigby and also the Ribbon Retreat in Shelley.  If you haven't been by… NEED to go! I'm not joking. You will love it!  It is so much fun and they really have a great selection of the best fabric (including mine)!  They have the entire line.

I took a little trip down to Shelley a few days ago just to give you a little preview.

Here is a close up view of the quilting on Sew Edgy, quilted by Rhonda Walker with oLliE and EviE.  She did a great job.  I'm all about simple crisp quilting that make my quilts look happy!
I love happy quilts :)

Bon Voyage, inside the Ribbon Retreat……Although this bag is constructed very different from The My Favorite bag, it is a take off from it.   The handles are sewn into a seam inside the outside pockets,  giving it a different feel and look from handles sewn into the top seam of a bag.  You could easily change it up by making one sash double the length and tie it just like the My Favorite bag.

That's How We Roll is such a fun bag.  You need a jelly roll with at least (36) 2-1/2" strips and 1/3 yard fabric for the ties along with stabilizers of course.  The inside is pieced including all the inside pockets (a total of 4).  I used Annies Soft and Stable for the main stabilizer and it is fast becoming my favorite stabilizer!  I love the texture and the stability that comes with it.  Because it isn't fusible (which I hope is in the works)  I like to incorporate quilting into those projects, which again gives it a totally different look.  It's not just a bag, it's now a quilted bag!

Make it a girls afternoon and head down to The Ribbon Retreat for some good fabric-ology! Whatever
ever that is :)
