Lost In The South!

I got to take a little break and fly down to North Carolina to visit my sweetie! He's been working their since August…..long distance relationships are so hard, but distance in my case makes the heart grow fonder.  Our 11th year anniversary is coming up March 14th, while he still isn't going to be home by
then I decided to fly down while I had a little down time.  I got patterns out to my wonderful testers
and booked a flight.

His condo is nestled right on Lake Norman.  I could have stayed forever.  It was so beautiful and quiet.
and so so refreshing.

As you can see….I didn't leave all my work behind!  This is a little peak of one of my newest patterns Edgy.  It will be available along with Sweet Harmony the end of March.

Scyril and I decided to head down South to Charleston. Wow what a city full of history and beautiful
architecture.

This was by far my favorite historic Inn.  I took so many pictures of this one….I think I just wanted to make sure that I got a good one.  I think I did!

I've decided I'm going to give up an entire wall in my house to Charleston.
There was so much inspiration lining the streets, it was hard to take it all in.  I couldn't help but think about all the untold stories of peoples lives.  Maybe because all of the church courtyards were lined with headstones which sounds eerie, but it wasn't.
This is where the first shots of the civil war were shot, just outside the harbor of Charleston onto Fort Sumter.

Here are a few pictures of what this incredible city looks like! I called it Sardine City while I was there because everything was just stacked ontop of each other, but it was also so much fun to tour!

It was so fun just wandering the streets and market place!

If you ever get the chance go…it was totally worth it.  This place was so amazing and so was spending some much needed one on one time with my husband.   He is so good to me!  I had a great time Babe!  ( I know he'll never read this but….it's all good, right?!!)

Unfortunately I had to go back home to the real world….but it was nice to have a break from it for a few days.  I can't wait to see what's next!
